About me
Hello, my name is Teodora Tsveteva, and I am a psychologist.
My specialization is in the field of eating disorders, body image, and the emotions you experience in your relationship with food. I completed my training at the National Centre for Eating Disorders (NCFED) in London, where I had the unique opportunity to learn from top professionals with many years of experience and knowledge. In 2023, I successfully completed my training at the Strong by Science Fitness Trainer Academy, which, in my opinion, is a world-class academy. With the knowledge I gained there, I expanded the ways I can be helpful to people.
I am also the girl who fought eating disorders for fourteen years and finally won. My main mission is to help people achieve peace and harmony in their relationship with food and with themselves. What I believe sets me apart is my personal experience as someone who has gone through all types of eating disorders. In turn, this gives me the privilege of deeply understanding the shame, despair, and all the accompanying profoundly negative emotions of those struggling with eating problems.
I can also provide a personal example that complete change and recovery are entirely achievable.
What I went through, in short…
Dieting! Starvation! Restriction! Bingeing! Purging!
I remember how my first thoughts every morning were about food and whether it would be a “good” day. Looking back now, I can see how my secret relationship with food made me feel in control of myself, but in reality, it was the exact opposite.
“Every kilogram lost is a dose that intoxicates you with victory over the weak, over the human part of yourself. The scale becomes your best friend, your Devil-God, and the mirror in which you see yourself becomes more and more distorted.”
I went through countless extremes, both in my eating and in my exercise: starvation, restrictions, food combining to the point of fanaticism, the 90-day diet, keto, detox, vegetarianism, veganism, fruitarianism, exercising to exhaustion, every day and at all costs.
Over time, I realized that the path to good health doesn’t come from hunger, deprivation, and fighting with your body, but from understanding its needs and taking proper care of it.
I’m not exaggerating when I tell you how incredible it is to be completely confident in my own skin, to find true pleasure in every meal, and to be 100% free from diets, prohibitions, or a full analysis of the ingredients, benefits, and consequences of every bite.
I want you to have the same freedom from food that I found. Most importantly, this will completely transform the way you feel about your own Self.
If there’s only one thing you take from my story, let it be the hope that things can change and that you can free yourself completely from the chains of eating disorders, eternal dieting, and an unhealthy relationship with food.
